THE BARN
The Barn was formerly home to an alpaca farm but has now been transformed into a minimalistic, farmhouse-inspired, peaceful space. Sensitively remodeled to create a blurring of inside and out.
Tall ceilings, large windows, impeccable decor, and open spaces seamlessly connect you with the natural serenity of the mountains and meadows. A commanding floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace invites you to get lost for hours in your thoughts or friendly conversation.
Subtle accents and timeless features perfectly complement the setting. You’ll find The Barn carefully nestled into the embrace of the hills amongst majestic views of Pikes Peak and the Sangre de Cristos mountain range.
Situated on 35+ isolated acres at 9000 feet in the Colorado Rockies, it’s an ideal place to escape yesterday. Relax in front of the crackling fire or feel the call of our irresistible library, stocked with books, reading chairs, and a view that will make you forget to read. Sneak off to a cozy corner to play games or engage in more intimate conversation.
During the day, take advantage of our walking trail. There’s plenty of space for your group to gather or play.
OVERNIGHT STAYS:
The Barn is a combination of a gathering space with two upstairs bedrooms and a bath as well as an apartment rental with three bedrooms and three baths. In total, it can accommodate 10 overnight guests. However, additional temporary beds are available upon request. Perfect for small to medium-sized retreats.
A modern, catering kitchen in the main hall has everything your group will need for snacks or whatever your culinary skills can whip up. Dine at our handcrafted community table, large enough to include everyone in the conversation. Additionally, there’s a coffee station and a high-top table with chairs. A washer and dryer is available for your use.
DAY USE OR RETREATS
Live in the Pikes Peak region? The Barn is an ideal place for day retreats, men’s/women’s retreats, church groups, or corporate training. Our group gatherings love the distraction-free, awe-inspiring, home-style environment of The Barn. Gather around the fireplace in the main hall for group meetings or there’s plenty of room for break-out space.
You’ll have access to the modern catering kitchen, two half-baths, a library, and use of our outdoor spaces, including the Prayer Trail. (Note: At this time, we are not licensed to host weddings or receptions. Thank you.)
